Juan Manuel Cuenca Martínez, new General Manager of SYM NAVAL

The shipyard SYM NAVAL, in its continuous search for business excellence in the naval sector, and in order to consolidate its growth course, incorporates Juan Manuel Cuenca Martínez as new General Manager (CEO).

In his extensive professional career, Juan Manuel Cuenca has always been linked to companies in the naval sector, where he has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Juan Manuel Cuenca is a highly motivated professional with a passion for the naval sector, capable and determined to drive business culture and growth through effective communication, the formation of commercial links and positive representation.

Juan Manuel Cuenca is an Industrial Engineer and holds an MBA from the London School of Economics.

Creation of a Board of Directors

As part of the restructuring process of SYM NAVAL, a Board of Directors has been created, formed by Francisco Lage, as President, Sergi Sánchez, as Vice President and Samuel Gómez, as Executive Vice President.

Since SYM NAVAL started its activity in 2011 with the aim of offering a professional response in technical and maintenance assistance to cruise ships and large vessels in navigation or in dry dock, the company has also managed to consolidate itself as a reference shipyard in the construction of steel and aluminium vessels for leading shipowners around the world.
