Marpol Harbour Vessel
The right solution for MARPOL service
MARPOL waste collection
A naval engineering challenge come true
The MARPOL TM-083-23 Vessel has been designed to achieve the highest load capacity and versatility in response to the operational requirements of the shipowners, the requirements of the Port Authorities specifications, flag regulations and class rules.
A unique model of port support
With a Lpp of 23.96 m, a tonnage of GT <150, the SYM Naval MARPOL Harbour Vessel is the appropriate solution for the tasks derived from the collection of MARPOL waste. In addition, it is certified to meet a flash point below 60º and has a double hull.
Digital design and 4.0 production process
SYM Naval reproduces the vessel by integrating all the systems into a digital model through which the shipowner can check the status of the project before its construction. Thanks to this, we managed to involve the shipowners in the production process.
Details and equipment of the vessel
The construction of the SYM Naval MARPOL Vessel is carried out in a personalized way to meet the needs of the shipowner and operational requirements of its crew. It has a semi-balanced rudder in the cabin and a cabin for two people.
Cytecma's hydraulic steel deck crane
Cytecma hydraulic cranes are new generation equipment, designed and built to carry out rugged marine jobs in highly corrosive, wet and saline environments. The MARPOL Vessel has a crane with a capacity of 2.5 tons to 8 m.
Dimensions and waste loading capacity
With a length of 25 m and a beam of 8 m, the MARPOL Vessel has two 1,000 mm propellers and two engines that offer a total power of 720 hp. It has a load capacity of up to 230 m³ for MARPOL I, IV and VI waste and 30 m³ for type V.
