Since at the same time autonomous authorities of Valencia and their respective port representations participated in the forum, as well as a relevant business representation of the sector in which theĀ SYM NavalĀ team is included, other issues of special consideration such as the port infrastructure that unite both countries and experiences with success stories that have been carried out by different companies.

Then, Carlos Dalmau, director of International Solutions at Banco Sabadell, gave his presentation on the importance of the Dominican Republic as an entry link for European products in the ports of the United States.
After a brief pause, the roundtable discussions were moderated by Miguel GarĆn, director of International Business Development of the Valenciaport Foundation, in whichĀ Francisco Lage, CEO ofĀ SYM NavalĀ actively participated, and in which notable issues were discussed as the connection between both continents and the abundant business opportunities presented by the Dominican Republic.
In summary, this first business forum held in Valencia was a great opportunity to value the present and potential port and commercial activities of the Dominican Republic, as well as its connection with national companies from Spain. In the words ofĀ Francisco Lage: “The Dominican Republic grows sustainably in the free zone sector creating an interesting opportunity for the relocation of production centers of companies that consider the North American market.”
